Apple Ice Cream

I recently invested in an ice cream maker and have been experimenting with different recipes, but this is the first Nigella flavour I've made. Sublime! Very fresh and creamy, with a perfect consistency. I used granny smiths as cooking apples are not available in Canada, and although sorely tempted I didn't make the suggested butterscotch sauce to accompany it, as our calorie intake this weekend was already sky high! There will definitly be a next time...
